Staff Training and Development
As well as providing staff with new ideas and activities, the training sessions are designed to stimulate thought, motivation and inspiration. All participants are encouraged to use the training as a staring point from which they can develop their own ideas and take them forward into their settings.
Participation, interaction and personal development are all key aspects of the training sessions that we run and all staff members are expected to get involved in all aspects of the activities. All of the ideas contained within the sessions are fully explained in activity booklets that staff can refer to and after-training support is available if necessary.
We also offer feedback to all managers and supervisors regarding any aspect of the training or staff development. As well as the individual packages that are detailed below, we can also create a tailor made training session to suit particular needs of individual clubs.
Staff Training Courses
If you have any staff at your establishment that are looking for new ideas or activities for any of your sessions, we offer training in the delivery of Sports and Play Activities. This course provides staff with a numnber of new ideas and games that are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Activities Planning and Programming – This course is all about expanding on existing ideas and enhancing your current programme. It encourages staff to explore new ideas and find excitng ways to do everyday tasks.
Developing Themed Activities – This course helps to look at existing themes and find ways of incorporating as many different aspects of development into them. It is about thinking outside of the box
Fun Fitness for 3 to 5 years – This course is all about finding the fun in fitness and adding it to your existing programming. It provides new games and ideas and also helps staff develop in terms of planning, preparation and delivery.
Planning and Programming Aids
With time always being an issue for staff within nurseries, we have created a range of aids to assist with planning. These packs contain lots of ideas, games, themes and tips to help plan a full term of activities. They also contain pre-planned schedules and evaluation sheets to support the activities. These packs work well if you are simply looking for some new ideas but can also be created with all the work done for you. The packs include:
